This hotel is surrounded by quiet forests and towering pines that fill the air with the sweet scent of nature. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious, with many options to choose from. The view is breathtaking and the location offers amazing leisure facilities, from swimming to hiking. As backpackers, we loved exploring the nearby trails, kayaking in the bay, and having a picnic by the waterfront.
Some of the staff made me uncomfortable by not wearing their masks properly, putting my health at risk.

Liked the peacefulness and stunning scenery of the hotel's location. The views of the lake were breathtaking and made for a serene atmosphere. The clean rooms and gorgeous grounds added to the charm, completing the overall atmosphere of the weekend. The hiking trails provided an opportunity to explore the nature surrounding the property.
Disliked that some aspects of the hotel seemed a bit outdated and could use some refreshing. The bathroom showed signs of age with peeling paint on the ceiling, while some of the dishes served for meals were not up to par. However, the staff was accommodating and helpful in addressing any issues that arose, replacing the soup without question. Despite some minor drawbacks, it was a delightful experience and I would consider returning.

Enjoyed our stay in this hidden gem among the beautiful Muskoka region. The meals were top-notch and towels, pillows, and bedding were comfortable. The location was amazing with fantastic views of the lake and a relaxing atmosphere. The boat ride and nearby restaurant treat was a bonus.
The parking was insufficient and navigating the terrain was difficult in damp weather. The air conditioning was loud and the shower pressure low. It was slightly overpriced given the need for updates. The beach was not great as some families were taking over and playing loud music, which made it hard for others to enjoy the quiet surroundings.

I loved the scenic location with breathtaking views of the lake, and the wide range of dining options at the hotel's restaurant and lounge. The staff was pleasant and always ready to assist. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel facilities was top-notch, and the available transportation and parking services made my stay even more convenient.

A very very beautiful hotel in a great area and super beautifully situated at the lake. We had rooms with a lake view and a fireplace. The rooms were very large, clean and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was delicious, everything fresh and could also be enjoyed with a view of the lake. The staff was courteous and kind. . . The hotel keeps what the pictures promise and almost surpasses it.
there were no shortcomings.

The location is fantastic, with breakfast and a view of the water. We have used the free canoes and Booked.nets several times.
The air conditioning in the room is very, very loud.

Very nice big rooms. The location is super and very idyllic. Beautiful layout but all a bit outdated.
The outdoor facilities (beach, tennis court etc.) are dirty and should be cleaned thoroughly. The chairs on the beach are partly broken, missing wooden slats, protruding nails. Price performance ratio does not fit!

The property is beautiful and rustic as it should be in the near North, well maintained and serene.
We would have liked a room with a balcony or walk out I found the website misleading. It showed a balcony with the premium room. I believe the parking spots should be designated to rooms/cottages.

The staff was kind and attentive. Took time to answer all of our questions. The rooms were clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. We loved the room and the gorgeous view of the water. Butter Chicken and Cesar salad were amazing!
The only thing that could have been better was that almost all of the staff were very new so the service in the restaurant was a bit slow for drinks and checking on our food. Everyone was very nice, that being said!
